Tags & labels

Hardware
Zips, buttons, eyelets and buckles — check engraving depth, colour match and how cleanly everything closes.
Shape & symmetry
Shoes: compare soles side by side, toe-box shape and midsole glue lines. Bags: panel alignment and overall structure.
Colour
Compare against retail shots in neutral light. Warehouse lighting is harsh, so judge relative tones, not absolute brightness.
Logo placement
Position, size and proportions against the retail original — measure it if you have a reference to hand.
A flaw that repeats across several buyers' batches is a batch-wide problem — switch batch or seller. A one-off flaw is a single-unit problem; if it's your own QC, ask your agent for a swap before it ships.
